Just a brief statement regarding the current status of TYAA’s programs. 2009 began the 6th year of TYAA’s existence with the future as bright as ever. Jr. NBA started and finished with extreme success with nearly 300 participants again and recognizing approximately 2/3 of these kids as Academic All Americans with a 3.0 GPA or higher. A big thank you to NBA Director Eric Quinonez for the time and effort to make this happen and a big thank you to Tulare’s Mayor Craig Vejvoda for your inspiring words at our All Star game!! Flag Football has just started and with everything on schedule its appearing to be one of our most successful seasons to date. Tackle Football & Cheer sign ups are in full swing and based on the rosters, 2009 is looking to be an extremely successful season once again!!!!!!! Contact Chris Marquez for Tackle info or Tambra Silva for Cheer info.
The big news this year… Tackle, Cheer & NFL Flag will now have a new facility in the Fall that we can call home thanks to a few generous sponsors, volunteers and donations!!!!! Considering TYAA is only going on its 6th year and accomplishing so much and generating support from our HS Coaches, our City Parks and Recreation Department and a HUGE NATIONAL SPONSOR to be identified later, TYAA will only get bigger better and stronger thanks to all the great parents, kids and supporters involved and we would like to thank each and every one of you out there.
Also in 2009, TYAA will now have our own Fireworks Stand so stay tuned for our location.
For more information regarding our new facility or just information in general please feel free to contact any of our board members. If you would like to join any of our committees you can contact the program head anytime. Our community is the reason we exist, so your help and opinion are beyond valuable to us.
Thank you again Tulare…. WE GOT IT!!!!!!!
Respectfully
2009 TYAA Board of Directors
Thank
You,
