"The Tulare Youth Athletic Association was created... to provide a variety of opportunities for youth in the City of Tulare. We believe that the key to conquer youth delinquency in the City of Tulare is to create more programs and opportunities for youth of all ages. The Tulare Youth Athletic Associations goal is to provide a variety of programs to youth, while also teaching them the skills necessary to be productive citizens in society. We believe that athletics teaches kids important life long skills, such as discipline, people skills, and team work which are necessary in every aspect of our daily lives. .." - TYAA Mission Statement
